Omilee is survived by three children, Shirley Turner and husband Don of Richwoods; Rhonda Fandrich of Rolla, MO and Stephen Courtoise of Boonville, MO; one brother, Floyd Wideman of Potosi; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Omilee was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Nellie Wideman; her husband, Willis Courtoise; one brother, George Wideman and by one infant sister.
Omilee was a devoted Christian and member of the Pentecostal Church in Potosi, MO. She loved her church family and was always willing to lend a helping hand at church functions. She made caring for her home and family her career in life and she never tired of her job. She enjoyed sewing, doing embroidery and quilting. Cooking for her family was a favorite pastime and she was happiest when her family was gathered around her table. Raising beautiful flowers and working in her yard was another of Omilee's hobbies.
A devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great and great-great aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair with Rev. Elvis Reed officiating. Interment was in Horine Cemetery, Richwoods, MO.
