Services will be held Monday for Ruben Boyer, 75, an Albuquerque resident who died Thursday in a local hospital.
Boyer was a longtime Santa Fe Railway employee, contractor and a member of the farm bureau.
He is survived by hit wife, Wanetta; three sons, Phillip, of Meeker, CO; David, of Bossier City, LA; and Paul, of Albuquerque; three daughters, Mrs. Marcia Smith, Houlton, ME; Mrs. Diana Beck, of Albuquerque; and Linda also of Albuquerque. Other survivors include his sister, Mabel Jones, of Golden, CO; brother, Roland, of Georgetown, TX; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Las Vegas SE, and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Hospital Heart Fund, 1100 Central SE.
