Alice Cloe Larsen Wilson was the first daughter of John Parley and Mary Alice Dotson Larsen. She spent most of her young life in Castle Dale and Moab, Utah. Her siblings ere: Jennie, Zoe, and Edward, but all died in infancy. A sister, Wanda, lived to the age of 20 when she also died. Mary Alice died at the birth of John Lyman, who also died a short time later.
In 1906 John Parley married Mary Viola Barton. Cloe therefore has the following half-brothers and sisters: Golda, Josephine, Reed, Clara, Edith and Sterling. Cloe met T. Ross Wilson while clerking for her uncle, James
Sewell, in Driggs, and they were married June 28, 1916. Their children are: Ralf, Mark, Clyde, Wayne, Grant, Merrill, and Suzanne. Farm life included picking raspberries, caring for the milk, chickens, eggs and other farm duties. She especially enjoyed serving in various positions in the ward and stake, especially in dramas, for she had an excellent memory and delivery.
While expecting another baby during the winter of 1932-33, she developed a blood clot in her left leg and died February 23, 1933. She was buried in the Pratt Ward, Alta, Wyoming cemetery, on a day of blizzards and deep snow.
