Thaxton Dies in Duke City
ALBUQUERQUE (AP)-Funeral services were held at Strong Thorne Mortuary today for Dr. E. E. Thaxton who died at his home Monday. He was 73.
Born in Missouri, Dr. Thaxton moved to Raton in 1914. He served Colfax County as state representative in the early 1920's before moving to Albuquerque in 1925.
A chiropractor, he was president of the State Chiropractic Examining Board.
Survivors include his widow; a son, Dr. J. L. Thaxton of Albuquerque; a brother and four sisters.
A brother, Dr. John Thaxton, has a practice in Raton.
