LAKE ARTHUR -- Funeral services for Paul John Conner, 61, will be at 3:30 p.m. today, Nov. 29, in Matthews and Son Funeral Home. The Revs. Maurice Martineau and Darren Sensat will officiate. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery. Visitation is from 8 a.m. today. A rosary was recited Saturday evening.
Mr. Conner died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, in the Jennings hospital. A native of Sweetlake, he resided in Lake Arthur. He was employed by Superior Oil and Mobil Oil as a production operator for 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hay Conner; two sons, Stephen Conner of Lake Arthur and Michael Lee Conner of Houma; two
daughters, Cindy Conner of Houma and Mrs. Wayne (Jenny) Hebert of Lake Arthur; one brother, Earl Conner of Decatur, Ill.; three sisters, Alice Guidry of Lake Arthur, Helen Peloquin of Lake Charles and Mrs. Marie Bowles of Gainesville, Texas; and four grandchildren.
