Lake Odessa Funeral and committal services will be at Pickens Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa, Sunday at 4 pm for Mrs. Ada Champlain, 93, of 1030 Fifth avenue, Lake Odessa. Mrs Champlin died Thursday evening at her home following a long illness.
She was born March 31,1873 in Odessa township and was the daughter of Solomon and Sarah (Black) Foght. November 3, 1899 she married Charles Champlain. They were life long residents of the Lake Odessa area moving to town from a farm in 1958. Mr. Champlain preceded her in death September 30, 1962. She was a member of the Lake Odessa Bible church and West Odessa Women Missionary Service.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Carol Enz of Woodland and Mrs. Mabel Richards of Lake Odessa; a grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Rev James Blouw and Rev Richard Vanden Bousch will be officiating with burial at Lakeside cemetery.
