Javier Passed away June 6, 2010 in San Pedro Javier was born on March 27, 1927 in San Pedro and was a lifetime resident. He started working as a teenager at the family restaurant. Which was the first Mexican Restaurant in San Pedro. Javier began building B-52 bombers, Flying Fortress and the A-4F, Sky Hawk during World War II. He worked for McDonnnell Douglas-Boeing Aircraft Manufacturing Companies for 50 years. Javier was a Longtime member of the San Pedro Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife Guadalupe Gonzalez; daughters, Dolores Kaufmann of Rockledge, Fl and Ann Marie Luera of San Pedro; grandchildren, Avalon and Jonathon kaufmann; twins, Freddie and Ella Luera; brother, Phillip(Carmen) Gonzalez; sisters, Alice Brandon and Irene Schwab; and neice and nephew, Cindy and Richard Gonzalez. A funeral mass will be offered on Friday, June 11, 2010, 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park. Visitations will be on Thursday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at: McNerney's Mortuary
