Beloved husband of Jessie F. Pedersen, dear stepfather of James. Son of Charles E. and Laura (Buckborough) Peckham. Brother of Amelia Bissell, Harry D., Grace Peckham, Corinne Schumacher, Mildred Rix and the late Beverly.

Mr. Peckham enlisted in the Army on April 24, 1942. He was stationed at the Alliance, Nebraska air base before being sent overseas. He was a paratrooper serving as a communications technician in the Airborne Command. He was wounded in the line of duty on June 14, 1944, in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.

With the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division he was killed in action in Europe on January 19, 1945.
