Jean H. Augsburger, 88, of Berne, a member of Women's Missionary Society, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Swiss Village. The Adams County native had worked at IGA store for 40 years and was a member of Cross United Church of Christ and Chancel Choir.
Surviving are a son, John H. of Berne; a brother, Carl Egly of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Homer, preceded her in death. Services are 3 p.m. Saturday at Cross United Church of Christ, Berne, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.
