Anna Elizabeth "Libby" Forren, 87, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010, in The Seasons, Lewisburg, after a long illness.

Born May 19, 1923, in Mt. Hope, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lynn A. and Wilma Stokes Marlowe Anderson.

Mrs. Forren had been a resident of Charlottesville, Va., for 33 years, Staunton, Va., for 11 years and a resident of Lewisburg for several years, member of the Lewisburg Church of Christ and retired as bookkeeper for L.A. Lacy, Inc., and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Walter H. Forren, in 2008.

Survivors include daughter, Wilma McMillion and husband, Marshall W., of Lewisburg; son, Marshall Forren and wife, Sue, of Louisa, Va.; sister, Jean Dudley of Fairlea; brother, Lynn H. Anderson of Salem, Va.; four grandchildren, Neil McMillion of Birmingham, Ala., Eddie Forren of Palmyra, Va., Stacy Forren of Louisa, Va., and Douglas Forren of Louisa, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Sydney and Emilie.

Services were held Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Lewisburg Church of Christ with Evangelist Adam Blaney officiating.

Entombment in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Lewisburg.

Friends called Monday, July 12, 2010, at the Longanacre Funeral Home, Fairlea.

Pallbearers were Harlan Wickline, Joe Hayes, Sam Banton, Eddie Forren, Roger Dilley and Ralph Himelrick.
