William "Bill" FRY died the morning of his granddaughter's wedding (Wendy Fry). They were near Lancaster OH when in the early hours of the morning suffered a massive heart attack and died in the hotel. Sadly for his granddaughter the wedding went on as planned. Her honeymoon was postponed for the funeral services.

He was the son of the late Samuel Michael and Alah Bell (Knapp) Fry. Husband to Vivian (Ferguson) Fry, married on Aug 9, 1947. He was a member of the Mason United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mary Louise (Fry) Rickard. His brother Samuel Fry resides in Meigs County, Ohio.

He has three sons, Charles "Mike" (Jane) Fry, William "Billy" Fry, Jr., and Mark (Trish Hollis) Fry and an understanding grandmother to Stacey (Eric) Meskimen, and Wendy (Joe) Benedetto. He is also is survived by step grandchildren, Eric Wagner and Amy Blake; great grandchildren, Christian Benedetto, Brianna Benedetto, Carter Benedetto, Andrew Meskimen, and Jacob Meskimen; and step great grandchildren, Nolan Blake.

Bill was buried with full military honors in Mason County, WV. Military service: Served in World War II. Occupation: Laborer for Philip Sporn Power Plant, New Haven, WV.
