He is survived by seven children, Garfield Stewart of Deleware, Jettie Rayster of West Point, Ga, Mary Lou and Lafe of Waverly, Ala., Norma Belle Stodghills of Camp Hill, Ala, Veresa Lynch of Florida and Annie Mae Carver of Anniston, Ala., 34 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, one brother, Louis Stewart of Little River, Texas and one sister, Vasser Holloway, of Oneonta, Ala. Funeral service were at Leven's Church, Thursday, Sept. 16. Burial in Wortham Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons. Rev. Gerald Romine conducted the services."
