She was born in Osceola, Polk County, Nebraska on August 22, 1918. She was 83 years of age. A former cosmetologist and employee of Hayward School District. She was a enthusiastic collector. She was always so loved. LeVina felt she lived a "Storybook Life".
She is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Ann Hopfenbeck and her husband John of Hayward; Patty Darfler and her husband Steve of Castro Valley, A dear sister Irene Cremeen of Colorado. Caring grandmother of Morgan Owen, Amy Owen, Jared Darfler, Katie Darfler, Lauren Hopfenbeck and Grace Hopfenbeck. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert J. Owen in 1997 and her loving son, Brad Owen in 1985.
Family and Friends may visit on Tuesday November 13,2001 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in the Mission Chapel of Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward California 94544. A funeral service will be held at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday November 14,2001 in the Mission Chapel. Interment will follow in the Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, Hayward, California.
