ASHTON--Eleanor L. Maciejewski, 82, of Ashton died Friday morning at a hospital in Kearney. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ashton with Rev. Ted Nekoliczak officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery at Ashton. (Further funeral arrangements omitted here).

Mrs. Macisjewski was born Feb. 18, 1892, at Paplin in Howard County, the daughter of August Zocholl and Francis Gorecki. She attended school at Paplin and grew to womanhood in that area. She married Harry Maciejewski at Ashton on May 21, 1912. The couple made their home in the Ashton area where they farmed. She was a member of the Ashton Rosary Sodality.

Survivors include three sons, Leonard of Ashton, Roman of Litchfield and Stanley of Kearney and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1943, five brothers and three sisters.
