Erma Dickson, 88, of Shoreline, WA and formerly of Polson, MT, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the Park Care Center in Shoreline, WA where she had been a resident. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson, is assisting the family. www.groganfuneralhome.com

Erma Ruth Dickson passed away on July 11, 2010. She was born in Grace, Idaho on April 3, 1922. She moved to Montana with her family in 1930 and resided in Valley View. She and Clair Dickson were married on November 20, 1938. They moved to Bremerton, Washington during the war where Clair worked in the shipyards. They returned to Polson after the war and raised two daughters. Erma enjoyed being a wonderful mother and grandmother and was always delighted when the grandchildren came to visit. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, card playing and dancing. Her husband preceded her in death in August 2006. Surviving are daughters Connie Brown of Seattle and Linda DeYoung (John) of Libby. Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and sister-in-law Mary Havlovich (Joe) of Polson. Erma's family will have a private gathering at the graveside in the near future.
