Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Love of Christ Lutheran Church, Sartell for Cara C. Coborn, age 40, of Sartell who died Monday at her home. Rev. Barry Hite will officiate and burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sauk Rapids. Friends may call one hour prior to the services Thursday at the church. Arrangements were made by Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.
Cara was born May 29, 1969 in St. Cloud to Robert & Kathleen (Kelm) Coborn. She married David Imholte on April 25, 1991 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church in Rice. She graduated from St. Cloud Cathedral High School in 1987 and Hennepin Technical College in 1990 with a degree in Floral Design. Cara was a homemaker and later in life explored her interest in nursing and was a CNA at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home. She was a member of Hilltop Chapel, Palisade, MN. Cara enjoyed spending time with her children, gardening, cooking, baking, fishing, drawing, and reading.
Survivors include her son and daughters, Adam Robert Imholte, Abigail Jean Imholte, Sophia Catherine Imholte, and Chloe Kathleen Coborn all of Sartell; parents, Kathleen Coborn of Emily and Robert Coborn, Jr. Of Sartell; sister, Chanda (Eric) Gebhardt of Sauk Rapids; grandma, Vivian Kelm of Sartell; and companion, Donald Kelly Fleming of Sartell, former husband David Imholte, Sartell
Cara was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emil Kelm, Robert Coborn, Sr., and Hazel Coborn.
A college trust fund for her children will be set up at Pine River State Bank, Emily, MN.
