Florid Child's Death Caused by Pneumonia
On Wednesday morning of last week, a shadow of great sorrow fell upon the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Krafft, when the death angel came to the family and took from them their infant son. Everything that kind and loving hands could do, was done to save his life, but he closed his eyes in sleep at 8 o'clock a.m., following over a week of illness with erysipelas and bronchial pneumonia.

Walter Eugene, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. August Krafft, was born October 8, 1931, being only 3 months and 26 days of age at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his heart-broken parents, six sisters and four brothers and many other relatives. Funeral services were held in the Christian church at Florid, Friday afternoon at 1 o[clock, with the Rev. harms of Hennepin, speaking words of tenderest sympathy to the bereaved parents and relatives. Interment was made in the Florid cemetery with Viron and Leslie Gustafson as casket bearers.
