MAX GOLDEN WILLIAMS, 77, died Wednesday at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. Born in Jay County, he had been a farmer and worked at Schact Rubber Co. in Huntington. He retired in 1985 from Magnetek in Huntington. Surviving are his wife, Muriel; a brother, Kenneth of Berne; and two sisters, Thera Cobb of Cincinnati and Velda Hartley of Spokane, Wash.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Friday at M.R.E. Cemetery, Berne, with burial to follow. No calling. Memorials to World Missionary Press, New Paris, Ind. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
