Grady E. "Buck" Braselton, 62, of Shreveport, died February 1 at Highland Hospital in Shreveport following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held February 3 at 2:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel with Dr. John Sullivan, pastor of the Ruple Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.
Mr. Braselton, a native of Bossier City, and a resident of the Shreveport area all his life, was an independent petroleum landman.
He was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church, the Petroleum Club and the American Association of Petroleum Landmen. Mr. Braselton was a graduate of Homer High School and Centenary College.
Survivors include his widow Mrs. Olney Faye Braselton and two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randall G. Braselton and Stephania Braselton and Gaylan F. Braselton of Shreveport; one sister, Mary Virginia Braselton Monzingo of Haynesville; one brother, J. Vernon Braselton of Benton; and two grandchildren.
