Submitted by: Chris Tidwell Source: Lafourche Comet Newspaper - Lafourche Parish, La. Jul 13, 1982 Cecile Dupre Mrs. Cecile Ledet Dupre, 61, died 4:10 p.m. Friday in Kenner. She was a secretary for 18 years at Terrebonne High School and was presently secretary of St. Gregory Catholic Church. The funeral arrangements are not complete. Burial will be in the St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Elaine) Scott of Houma. She is preceded in death by her husband, Armond Joseph Dupre; her parents, Odine Portier and Adolph Ledet; two brothers, Leslie and Louis Ledet Sr.; and one sister, Mrs. Adolph (Anna Mae) Blanchard. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Gregory Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, with a special service at 8 p.m. Visitation will resume 8 a.m. Tuesday and continue until funeral time. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday from the church. Burial will follow in the St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
