Mr. George C. Berzett, 81, of Athens, Alabama passed away Monday, July 12, 1020, at the Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 15, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Athens City Cemetery with Jimmy Bassham officiating.
Mr. Berzett was a retired plumber and life-long horse and mule trader.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sue Berzett; and brother, Ernest Rowe Berzett.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Edna Ray Berzett, Athens, AL; son, George R. "Butch" Berzett and wife Joan, Athens, AL; grandsons, Cole and Ryan Berzett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
