He was also preceded in death by his wife, whom he married March 14, 1936, Wanda N. (Knapp) Kapp; and step-mother, Flaura Kapp.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Della M. and Merrill Waugh of Crown City, Ohio, Wanda N. Greenlee of Point Pleasant, WV, and Leota B. and Kelsey Henry of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; four sons and daughters-in-law, James G. and Sandra K. Kapp of West Columbia, WV, Charles O. and Diana Kapp of West Columbia, WV, John W. and Helen Kapp of West Columbia, WV, and Don V. Kapp of Pomeroy, Ohio; a step-brother, Russell Sayre of Point Pleasant, WV; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grand-children; and one great-great-grandchild.
