ARCHBISHOP AND METROPOLITAN JUDSON headed the Byzantine-Ruthenian Catholic Church in America. He studied at St. Procopius College and Duquesne University. He was ordained on May 19, 1957. He served as rector of Saints Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Seminary, Pittsburgh, from 1969 to 1973. In 1973 he was named rector of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Munhall, and served until his installation as archbishop in 1995. He was the son of Michael and Mary (Buchko) Procyk.
