Services for Heather Nicole Bauman, 13, of Lubbock will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Green Lawn Church of Christ with Dale Mannon and Pastor Rickey Honea officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

She died Sunday, May 2, 1999.

She was born April 16, 1986, in Lubbock. She was an Honor Roll student at Wilson Jr. High, a member of the band and tennis team and was about to receive the award for Outstanding 7th Grade Tennis Player. She was in the Science Club. She wanted to be a doctor and loved working with younger kids. She was in the All City Choir with her best friend, Shaila Reyna last year. She knew sign language and worked with the deaf-ed children at Stubbs Elementary.

Survivors include her parents, Anthony and Suzanne Bauman of Lubbock; two sisters, Heidi Bragg and Holly Bauman, both of Lubbock; a brother, Anthony Bauman Jr. of Lubbock; her grandparents; Tom and Kathy Bragg of Wolfforth, Doug and Sharon Brewer of Lubbock and Alice Bauman of Jonesboro, Ind.; two great-grandmothers, Rhea Eaves and Mary Bragg, both of Lubbock.
