William F. "Bud" Lester was born in Hugo, Ok. His parents were Charley Lester & Evoline Chadwick Lester. He died July 18 in Norman, Ok.
He had lived in this area most of his life. He had worked at the Mill in Sulphur and in yard maintenance.
He was married to Ruby Newby on February 19, 1958. She preceded him in death.
He attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Services were held Tuesday July 20 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Rev. Bill Leveridge officiated.
Survivors: Step-son and his wife: Harvey & Margaret Dunkin of Okla. City. Step-daughter: Velma Bryan of Normange, Texas. 11 grandchildren & several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a step-son: Leo Dunkin and 2 sisters and half brother James P "Jimmy" Fredrickson as well as his step-father Walter Robert Fredrickson and mother Isabella Evaline Chadwick Lester Fredrickson.
