Mr. Kellahan was born January 3, 1922 in Williamsburg Co., a son of the late Richard M. and Minnie Strong Kellahan. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended the Citadel. He served in the US Army with the 4th Infantry Division during World War II and was a retired US Postal Service mail carrier and farmer. Mr. Kellahan was a member of the American Legion, the V.F.W. and Central Presbyterian Church, where he served as the Clerk of the Session and Sunday School Teacher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lemyra Ward Kellahan.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, William N. "Nicky" Kellahan, Jr. and his wife, Alice, Warren V. Kellahan and his wife, Paula, and Robert Myron Kellahan and his wife, Sherry, all of Kingstree; daughter and son-in-law, Marcena K. Tisdale and her husband, Mike, of Kingstree; brother, Richard H. "Dick" Kellahan of Kingstree; sister, Margaret K. Tyler of Kingstree; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
