Co-owner of the Serv-Us Store at Berne, Rhona L. Norris, 64, of Berne died at 9:29 a.m. Sunday, May 22, 2005, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. She was a former employee of Walbert's Cafe and a 10-year employee of CTS Corp.at Berne. In addition, she was a member of the First Mennonite Church, the Berne Garden Club and the board of the Adams County Red Cross.
Born Oct. 20, 1940, in Adams County, she was the daughter of Eventt and Edith Felber Lehman. Her marriage was on May 7, 1967 in Adams County to Charles Norris, who died in 2001.Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Janel) Markley of Markle and Mrs. Trent (Brenda) Lehman of Huntington; one son, Eventt Norris of Berne; one brother, Bradley Lehman of Fort Wayne, and five grandchildren.
Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m.Tuesday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne and at the church Wednesday for one hour prior to the services. The funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the First Mennonite Church Chapel with Rev. Harold Nussbaum, Marie Nussbaum and Pastor Larry Eads officiating. Burial will be in M.R.E. Cemetery. Memorials to the First Mennonite Church.
