Wife of Willie L. Betts∼Death of Mrs. Doc Betts
Mrs. Betts, wife of Doc Betts, of this place, died last night, about 10 o'clock after quite an extended illness. She suffered a stroke some months ago but gradually recovered for a time and it was thought would be completely restored. But a kidney disease afterwards set in and for a couple weeks past she has been very low. She was aged 31. She leaves her husband and a son four.
Mrs. Betts was the daughter of Jacob Myers, formerly from Jackson Township, now a resident of Michigan.
Funeral service tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock at the residence and interment in Live Oak Cemetery
