Charlie F. King, 78, died shortly after being taken to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, May 16, 1961 at 9 a.m. following a heart attack. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. David O. Meador, of Hardinsburg; Earl, of Harned; James, of Irvington; Loyd and Seth of Guston; William, of Louisville. Floyd preceded him in death eight years ago; twenty one grandchildren, one great grandson, one sister, Mrs. Floyd Triplett, of Miller, Nebraska; one brother, Lovel King, of Hardinsburg. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Rosetta Methodist church of which he was a member. The Rev. W. P. Smiley officiated and the Dowell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. Members of the Masonic Lodge had charge of graveside services. He was a member of Bewleyville Masonic Lodge.
