Charles Howard King, 72, died suddenly on Saturday, March 29, 1986, at his Guston residence. He was born in Breckinridge County on May 28, 1913, a son of the late Charles F. and Fannie Turpin King. His wife, Mrs. Bessie Dowell King preceded him in death in 1962. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Nellie Meador, Hardinsburg; three brothers, Loyd and Seth King, both of Guston, and James King of Rt 1, Irvington; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, at the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, with the Rev. Thomas Williams officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery, near Bewleyville.
