Floyd Thomas King died December 7, 1952 at Nichols Hospital in Louisville at the age of 29 years, 3 months and 13 days. The Funeral service was held at the Bethel Cemetery conducted by Rev. D. A. Meador. Undertaker in charge was Mr. Sturgeon, of Brandenburg. He was buried with military honors by the V.F.W. of Hardinsburg. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Faye Kendall King and two sons, Thomas Ray and James Earl, of Brandenburg, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie King, of Irvington, brothers, Howard, of Hardinsburg, Bill of Louisville, Joe, Earl, Lloyd and Seth, of Irvington, and James, of Denver, Colorado, one sister, Mrs. Nellie Meador, of Hardinsburg, a number of nieces and nephews; one uncle, Lovel King, of Hardinsburg, and one aunt, Mrs. Floyd Triplett, of Grand Island, Nebraska.
