LACONIA - Gary Douglas Sjogren, 46, of 16 Charlevoix Place, No. 204, died at his home on Wednesday, July 14, 2010.
Mr. Sjogren was born July 4, 1964, in Worcester, MA, the son of Robert G. and Janis R. (Garrepy) Sjogren. He resided in Millbury, Mass., for 34 years before moving to Laconia.
Mr. Sjogren was a 1982 graduate of Holy Name Catholic High School, Worcester, Mass. Through his life, he worked at Sjogren Tool & Machine in Auburn, MA, McNeil Worldwide in Laconia, Molex in Gilford and Health Link in Laconia.
He loved his animals - his dog, Sabrina, and his cat, Digger - and enjoyed playing golf and guitar.
Survivors include his parents of Belmont; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert S. and Rebecca Sjogren of Simsbury, CT, and Mark T. and Joan Sjogren of Shrewsbury, MA; two nephews, Andrew and Christopher; two nieces, Kirsten and Emily; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister, Tammy Sjogren, in 1973.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn, Mass. Burial will be in the family lot in All Faiths New Swedish Cemetery, Worcester, MA, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N.H. Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia NH 03247.
