Mr. Sheets was born in Michigantown and had moved to Rossville in 1922, where he had worked at the carpentering trade.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Cora Reppert Sheets; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Newman of Lafayette; two sons, Roscoe and Woodrow, both of Rossville; seven sisters, Mrs. Violet Reppert, Lafayette; Mrs. Ed Lyons, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Milo Peter, Albuquerque, N. M.; Mrs. William Blanchard, Buck Creek; Mrs. Hanford Virgin, Mulberry, and Mrs. Clarence Payne, Flora; also three brothers: Joseph of Rossville, Clyde, of Lafayette, and Emerson of Frankfort.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, with Rev. John Hanstra officiating. Burial was in Rossville cemetery.
