Born at Michigantown, Mrs. Virgin was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sheets. In 1914 she was married to Hanford Virgin Sr., who died in 1957. She was a member of the Mulberry Methodist church.
Surviving in addition to the son are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Troxel of Lafayette; three brothers, Joseph Sheets of Lafayette, Emerson Sheets of Lafayette route 4; four sisters, Mrs. Vallie Reppert of South Bend, Mrs. Anna Peters of Albuquerque, N. Mex., and Mrs. Laura Metzger and Mrs. Ethel Blanchard, both of Frankfort; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Johnson Funeral Home at 2 p. m. Friday, with the Rev. J. Steven Burris officiating. Burial will be in the Rossville cemetery.
