Ken was born in Tacoma on January 13, 1928, and passed away after a long bout with cancer on March 9, 2008. Ken was a longtime resident of Lakewood, owner of Krebs Cabinet Shop, a Korean War veteran, a member of Lakewood Kiwanis, and had a long and active involvement with Sea Scouts. An avid golfer, Ken played constantly at Fort Steilacoom Golf Course. Ken is survived by his sister-in-law Alice Krebs, nine nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
