Randolph Dacre (d. 1461), 1st Baron Dacre of the North, was killed at the Battle of Towton fighting as an adherent of the Lancastrians and was buried in the churchyard of nearby All Saints' Church, Saxton, Yorkshire, where his inscribed chest tomb survives. He is thought to have been buried with his horse.
