Marie Neal, 85, Crocker, died Dec. 21, 2001, at Osage Beach Health Care Center.
She was born April 14, 1916, in Crocker, a daughter of Herman and Nora Payne Krouse. She was married Oct. 6, 1937, in Crocker, to Howard Neal, who died Dec. 17, 1967.
She was a member of Crocker Presbyterian Church where she was in the church choir, a board member and a member of the Ladies Group and the Quilting Group. She was a self-employed beautician. She was the deputy assessor for Pulaski County and a school teacher.
Survivors include: two sons...; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crocker Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William K. Knudsen will officiate. Burial will be in Crocker Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Long Funeral Home, Crocker, and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Crocker Presbyterian Church.
