Louie C. Quigle a retired farmer of Avon died at Sanders Hospital in Avon Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3:30 pm at the Avon Federated Church with Dr. Stanley assisted by Rev. Bowman, officiating. Burial in the Avon Cemetery. Mr Quigle was born November 24, 1879 in McDonough County , the son of Emory and Elizabeth Kreider Quigle. He married in 1905 in Galesburg to Nettie Huddleson who survives. He was a member of the Universalist Church and Avon Masonic Lodge. Surviving in addition to his wife, is one daughter Mrs Dale Crissey and two granddaughters, Kay and Rebecca of Avon .

Louie C. Quigel, 78, a retired Avon farmer, died this morning at Saunders Hospital in Avon. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Avon Federated Church. Burial will be in Avon Cemetery. Friends may call here at the Brand Funeral Home Friday afternoon and evening. Born in McDonough County Nov. 24, 1879, Mr. Quigle was married to Nettie Huddleson in Galesburg in 1905. He was a member of the Universalist Church and the Masonic Lodge of Avon. Surviving are his wife; a daughter. Mrs Dale Crissey of Avon and two grandchildren.
