The passing of a Veteran: C.C. Abbott, the aged father of A.A. Abbott and Mrs. R.H. Harris, died this (Friday) morning at 6:15 o'clock at their home. Mr. Abbott was in this eighty-fourth year. For three years he has been an invalid from paralysis. He was born in New York State in 1826, and during the Civil War served as a soldier of the One Hundred and Tenth New York Volunteer Infantry. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 2:30 p.m., at the home, 633 Eighth street.
