Daniel Ervin Cribbs, 58, was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday at Corcoran District Hospital from an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Bledsoe's Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Corcoran District Cemetery.
A native of Paragould, Arkansas, Cribbs had lived in Corcoran for over 30 years. While here, he owned two gas stations and started the store known as Dan's Variety. As a veteran of World War II, Cribbs remained active in the VFW and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Mary: two sons, Stanley Cribbs of Corcoran and David Cribbs of Bremerton, Washington; a daughter, Mrs. Dana Dyar of Visalia; a brother; three sisters and five grandchildren.

An error was made in the Daniel Cribb's obituary of last week. Mr. Cribbs was not pronounced dead on arrival at the local hospital. He was alive when left there by members of the local fire department, and died a short time later in the emergency room.
