SANDY RIDGE - Bruce Cyphus Amos, 95, of Route 1, Highway 770 died March 29, 1993, at Stokes Reynolds Hospital, Danbury. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Delta United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Dodson Family Cemetery. A native of Sandy Ridge, he was a retired farmer, and of the Protestant faith. Surviving are sons, Orell Amos, Donnie Amos, both of Sandy Ridge; daughters, Connie Gunter, Ruth Smith, Clarence Martin, all of Sandy Ridge; sister, Lola Dodson of Wesleyan Arms, High Point; eight grandchildren;and three great-grandchildren. The family will be at Ray Funeral Home, Madison, 7-9 tonight.
