Katherine Ailene Heyerdahl, age 87, of Palestine, Texas died July 18, 2010 at her residence. Burial at Roselawn Park is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine. She was born November 23, 1922 in Grapeland, Texas to Ira and Bertha Clarice Skidmore Murdock. Mrs. Heyerdahl was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Sue Williams; and grandsons, Mike and Mark Okonski. She is survived by Troy E. Jones, father of her children, of Elkhart; daughter Kathy Okonski; siblings, Flora Brookshire, Reba Worley, and John Murdock; grandchildren, Craig Williams, Kelly Marsh, and Karan Watkins; and six great-grandchildren.
