Acie O. Hoover
Ranger- Acie O'hara Hoover, 59 of Olden died at 4:25 PM Friday in Ranger General Hospital. He was an oil field driller. Services Will be at 2"30 PM Sunday at the Church of God in Ranger.
The Service will be conducted by the Rev. T. J. O'Neal, pastor of the Church of God in Ranger. He will be assisted by the Rev. J. C. Adkins a retired Church of God pastor of Mineral Wells. Burial will be in Ranger Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Killingsworth Funeral Home.
Mr Hoover was born in April 15, 1914 in Lingleville, He married Joyce Farabee April 3, 1939 in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW. He was a formaer lone time resident of Ranger. Survivors include his wife of the home; one brother, Cecil Hoover of Vidalia LA; one sister, Mrs. J. C. "Iva" Kimmel of Farmington New Mexico; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers include Milton Nash, James Reid, J. W. Harper, George Carter, George Ford, Jack Mathis, and Pat Wood.
