John (Johann) Bish, was the son of Adam Bish Sr 1736-1790 and Elizabeth Catherine. Adam and Elizabeth came to Armstrong County, Pa by 1820 with five of their boys.

Tim Sayers notified me that they never came to Armstrong Co. according to a descendant of oldest son Adam Jr. They were buried in Hanover Lutheran church cemetery when church expanded --those burred there were moved to other cemeteries. Tim saw church records showing that the family attended the church in Hanover--2 of their sons were christened there.
