Mrs. Anna Ganzel funeral Tuesday


Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday for Mrs. Anna Ganzel, former resident of Otoe, who died Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.

Born December 5, 1879, in Germany, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aufderheide. She was married to Adolph Salsow in 1902. He died in 1908 and she remarried in 1931 to Lewis Ganzel. Mr. Ganzel died in 1942.

Survivors include a son, Lawrence Salsow, Des Moines, a daughter, Mrs. Myrna Laatz, Calif. three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a brother Henry, Nebraska City.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Rites will be conducted from the Tonsing and Son Chapel in Syracuse at 2 p.m. with the Reverend E.H. Unvert officiating.

Pallbearers will be G.A. Reuter, Adolph Reuter, Fred Lockman, Allan Paap, Marvin Stubbendick and Herman Lutjemeyer.

Interment will be in the Union cemetery at Otoe. The body is at Tonsing and Son Funeral Home.
