Hannah's parents were both born in England.

Wife of Albert Clinton Edgerton, whom she married 27 Oct. 1896 in New Britain, Conn. and was Mother of their four sons:

Stillborn male
12 April 1897
New Britain, Conn.;

Bryant Clinton Edgerton
born 15 May 1898 in New Britain, Conn. Died 27 Jan. 1985 in New Haven, Conn.;

Fary Bedford Edgerton
born 24 Feb. 1901 in East Hartford, Conn. Died 14 May 1984 in Milford, Conn.;

Alfred Reeves Edgerton
born 26 Dec. 1903 in East Hartford, Conn. Died 4 March 1999 in Bridgeport, Conn.

Bryant was the father of the four Edgerton boys of Stratford, Conn.

Neither Fary nor Al had children.

Grandma was called "spud" by her husband Albert.
Why? No one knows.

Grandma never learned to drive a car. But, she could ride a horse if it was old and slow.

Back in the late thirties and early forties Grandma preferred a 'nip' from her flask which she kept tucked in her left stocking garter.

Grandpa kept their trash can behind a big bush near the old barn/garage. We lived next door and when Grandma came out with the trash my brother George and I would watch as she would lift her long dress, take out the flask and have a nip not knowing that we were watching her.

Strange, they must have had a lot of trash in that house because Grandma made many trips to that bush every week. Those were the good old days!!!

Sixty plus years later I still wonder what was in that flask - Pepsi or Coke!!!!

Rest Together With Grandpa Forever In Heavenly Peace Dear Grandma.

Hannah was 89 years old.
