Gary Vincent Cooper Dies in Accident:
Funeral services for Gary V. Cooper,24, Independence, who died early Saturday morning as a result of a one car accident in Independence, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Huston-Hadley Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wells officiating.
Organ music was played for the funeral.
Casket bearers were: Gary Walker, Charles Powers, Billy C. Williams, JimBolton, Donald Chambers, Larry Campbell.
Intermant was in Laurel Oak Cemetery.

He was born Jan 2, 1947 in Warrensburg, the son of Homer Ray and Evelyn Nadine Dady Cooper. He was married Oct. 8, 1966 to Beverly Buchanan at the Antioch Baptist Church. Cooper had recently completed his military obligations with the U.S. Army and had served a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was employed by Sears as an electronic tecinician.
He was a member of the High Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Cooper, Windsor; two brothers,Clifford C. and Randy Lee Cooper, Windsor; four sisters, Misses Charla R. and Raedeana Cooper, Windsor; Mrs. Mayna Shirey, Ouray, CO. and Mrs. Sharon Ebeling, Calhoun; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dady, Windsor.
