NEWSPAPER OBITUARY - Tuesday January 10, 1939 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, January 10 - Mrs. Ella Fox Balcom, 72, died at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at her home in_ street, following an illness of 10 days. She was the daughter of Rolon and Elida Fox, born in Redfield. She is a descendant of early settlers there. She moved from Redfield to Pulaski 25 years ago. She was an attendant of the Pulaski Methodist church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Susie Flagg of Camden, and Mrs. Maude Helbock of Pulaski; three brothers, Dennis and Ira Fox of Redfield and Wilbur Fox of Pulaski; six sons, Orin of Redfield, and Robert, Pratt, Charles, Rolon and Vann of Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Teachout of Pulaski and Mrs. Ruth Taylor of Mexico; 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the home at any hour. Prayer will be said at the home Friday at noon. Funeral services will be held at the Community church at Redfield Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with burial in Redfield cemetery.
