According to St. John's United Church of Christ records in Genoa, Ohio, his sponsors (Godparents) were Karl and Margaretha Wagner.
Never married. He went into the Osteopathic Hospital in Phila. to get his tonsils and adenoids removed, and died on the operating table. He was 51 years old. (Per Viola Marlin Lawrence)
According to his obituary in an unknown Phila. newspaper, he was known as Fred and he belonged to the Richard Vaux Lodge No. 384, F. & A. M. His funeral was held at his sister Carolina Harm's house at 3626 Jasper Street, Phila. As the informant on his mother's death certificate, he signed his name as "C. F. Morgan". His mother was living with him when she died.
