Robert Keith Page, lifelong Cleveland resident, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of eighty-one.

Keith was born on November 19, 1928 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was the son of Kenneth George Page, Sr. and Etta Mae (Hooks) Page. Keith was raised and attended school in Cleveland. After completion of his education, he began his career in rural electrification working for the Indian Electric Cooperative (IEC) in 1946 as a member of the brush crew and right of way clearing crew.

Keith was married to Thelma Carter on September 4, 1948 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. The couple made their initial home in Cleveland and have continued to reside in Cleveland throughout their life together; raising three sons, Steve, David and Robert. Keith continued to work for the IEC until he was inducted into the service of his country in the United States Army on February 21, 1952. He served as a Corporal with the 811th Engineer Aviation Battalion during the Korean War, were he was involved with the construction of Kimpo Airbase. He was honorably discharged on November 7, 1953 and returned to his family in Cleveland.

Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed watching basketball. He was an avid Oklahoma State University Basketball fan for the past couple of years. He was also an excellent pool player. He spent countless hours watching television; his favorite programs included, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Jeopardy, and Bonanza.

Keith is survived by his wife of sixty years, Thelma of the home; three son and their wives, Steve and Sharon Page of Cleveland, Robert and Mishell Page of Cleveland and David and Karen Page of Stillwater, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Brady Page of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Robert Keith Page of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Keiton Page of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Scott Page of Cleveland, Oklahoma; and a brother, Harry Lou Page of Cleveland, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth G. and Etta Mae Page; a brother, Kenneth G. Page, Jr. and a grandson, Brian Keith Page.

Funeral services will be held at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 with Rev. Sandra Bach officiating. Interment will be at the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
